According to the 2024 Peak Season Consumer Survey from Project44, 74% of shoppers are planning to complete up to 75% of their shopping online. Dollar Tree Advances Rotacart Delivery Initiative

Dollar Tree is servicing more than 600 Dollar Tree and combo stores with rotacart deliveries from its distribution center in West Memphis, Arkansas. The discount retailer is also using the technology to deliver to roughly 300 stores from its Chesapeake, Virginia, distribution center. By the end of 2025, Dollar Tree expects to provide rotacart deliveries from four distribution centers to more than 2,000 stores, including an additional 150 from the West Memphis facility. Sam’s Club Prepares to Open First All-Digital Store

Sam’s Club is preparing to launch its first store without checkout lanes this month in Texas. The store will require customers to use an app called Scan & Go to ring up items on their smartphones as they shop. Where most stores would have cash registers, the retailer will instead display online-only items such as giant Christmas trees and diamonds.
