More US-Based Companies to Shift Supply Chain Operations into Americas

Over the next two years, the percentage of U.S.-serving supply chains located in North and South America will rise to 69%, according to a KPMG survey. Mexico tops the countries poised to enjoy gains, with its share poised to rise to 36%, replacing Canada as the second-most popular country for nearshoring in the Americas. The trial, conducted in Livermore, California, included 3,000 miles of regular operational routes and a fully loaded long haul of 390 miles. The Tesla Semi exceeded expectations by traveling up to 500 miles on a single charge. The trial is part of DHL’s larger commitment to decarbonizing its fleet.
