Business leaders are prioritizing supply chain resilience amid volatility and rising customer demands, according to a report from Cleo. Eighty-three percent of executives say supply chain resilience is as critical as cybersecurity, with many turning to technology to strengthen their operations. GM Opening More Inventory Fulfillment Centers Across The Country

GM is expanding its regional fulfillment model, which was originally developed to optimize EV inventory, to cover a larger area and inventory more vehicles. The program began in 2022 to keep inventory near the dealerships without taking up floor space. GM currently has six fulfillment centers in the U.S. These centers cover dealerships in 33 states, and GM has set a goal to expand that availability to all 48 contiguous states by opening new fulfillment centers. FedEx Unveils New Consolidated Returns Service

FedEx is launching a consolidated returns service that shippers can begin using this summer. The service, FedEx Easy Returns, will allow consumers to return products box-free and label-free at 3,000 FedEx Office and Kohl’s locations across the U.S., using a QR code to complete the drop-off process. FedEx then consolidates the various returns and delivers them back to merchants in one shipment. Read more.
